Hamper Delivery
At the Cold Lake Food Bank, we believe that physical barriers should never stand in the way of putting food on the table. For many in our community, challenges like mobility issues or sudden illness make visiting our facility impossible.
To ensure equitable access to essential groceries, we are proud to launch a new trial delivery service, made possible by the generous support of a Food Banks Canada Access Grant.
As we are currently in the testing phase of this initiative, delivery is strictly limited to addresses within the City of Cold Lake and a 5-kilometer radius. This limited service area allows us to build our logistics and capacity so the program can successfully grow.
Please see the map for more details and the listing area below:

Trial Program: We look forward to expanding our service area soon. Stay tuned!
Our delivery program is a pilot program, and our resources for bringing hampers directly to doors are finite. We review requests with a focus on prioritizing those with the greatest need and barrier. We kindly ask our community to help us protect these spots for our most vulnerable community members. If you have the ability to visit the Cold Lake Food Bank safely, please continue to do so.
Reserving delivery only for those who have no other option ensures no one falls through the cracks. Please hang in there with us as we navigate this trial phase and figure out the best ways to serve you.
Requirements for In-Person Hamper Services & Delivery remain the same:
-
Photo ID is required for all individuals in the household who will be accessing food for the first time.
-
Following the first visit, photo ID is required only by the individual receiving the hamper.
-
-
A household may include relatives or roommates who share food
-
Relatives or roommates who don't share food are considered two separate households
-
Receiving a hamper at the Satellite Location still counts as a regular distribution. Hampers can only be accessed every 14 days.

A huge thank you to Food Banks Canada for making this trial program possible. Driven by their mission to improve access where it’s needed most, the 2026 Access Grant is designed to help food banks overcome physical, geographic, and systemic barriers to food security. Thanks to this vital funding, the Cold Lake Food Bank is able to close local gaps in service and bring essential support directly to the doors of our most vulnerable neighbors.
